As we are primarily an online studio, we always offer online classes to be able to best assist your needs and schedule. Experience the extra benefits of taking a class from the comfort of your home! As classes are taken from your own home, supplying your own props for classes will be necessary.
In-person: We ask that you please arrive with cleaned hands. Your own cleaned props/ mats. (We supply: yoga mats, yoga blocks, yoga straps, chairs, poles & crash pads). Poles, stages, crash pads and bathrooms (+door handles and stair railing) are cleaned before and after every class with Government recommended cleaning products. Students may wipe down their props with provided alcohol or cleaning supplies at any point of time during class.

Please arrive to class times 5 minutes early. This allows time for set up before class, and for teachers to give any pre-class announcements.
Respect is the most important part of our studios morals and ethics. We believe everyone deserves respect and a safe, judgement free zone to do their practice. Please respect the studio's space, your instructors and fellow class mates.
Consent goes hand in hand with respect. Instructors ask for consent before giving you a physical adjustment, unless an immediate emergency is needed. If you ever feel violated in class please reach out to kc.cares@yogadance.studio
In addition to physical consent you have the right to with draw your consent for any part of the practice at any time. If there is a part of class you would not like to participate in, we encourage you to listen to yourself & only do what you are comfortable with.
We do occasionally take photos/ videos during classes. We will not film or record you during these sessions, these sessions are only recording the instructor. (Unless you give us specific permission or request us to record you) If you decide to take a photo or video in the studio, please be mindful of other students who may be in the background. Always get consent before posting an image with another person in it. It is AGAINST OUR POLICIES for you to record online Classes for any reason.
In online classes we ask that you please turn on video, and turn off audio (mute yourself). This way instructors can see you to provide better cues, adjustments and modifications. Please place your camera in a way to help the instructor best see you. Having Mic Audio Off is less disruptive during class and also allows the screen to stay fixated on the host (instructor) of the zoom class, if students forget "pin the host" during class. Instructors will instruct you to turn on your mic as needed.
Please respect this space. This studio is our yoga home and also the owners real home. We ask that you please treat this space as sacred as your own home as well. Please respect the animals on this property just as much (if not more haha) as the other people sharing this space with you.
We provide trigger warnings for all classes involving aspects of meditation. This is to best help and assist all students and help to make yoga a more inclusive space for all.

Classes may warm up the body & work up a sweat. We recommend wearing clothes that you will feel comfortable in & have full range of movement in. Typical form fitting workout clothes tend to help assist Asana posses. Some may prefer to have skin of the arms or legs show for better gripping & movement. Some may prefer looser fitting clothes. We ask, regardless of the clothing style you rock, to keep all private areas & genitals of the body covered during Online & In-person classes.
We recommend that you come to class prepared with water, and pole grip (if you are taking an "on the Pole Class."). Some people may find pole gloves/ pole stick clothes assist them during practice. Gripping onto the pole is the most important part of pole dancing. You will sweat & slip, to get better grip contact with the pole, skin to pole contact is recommended. Clothing that allows a lot of shown skin help assist pole dancing.
